Some of the art forms that best preserved the character of the Romans until today are the architecture and sculpture. Both were monumental, claiming to symbolize power and greatness rather than freedom of the spirit or the joy of living. Based on one of the traditional Greek orders that the Romans preserved, the Temple console was born in tribute to the mythological gods, with an Ionic style that reveals a connection between the interior and exterior of the temple and between the walls and the supports, connected with the feminine symbol.
